As we saw yesterday, marketing strategies can be divided into three categories: communication, content, and strategy. We will focus on marketing communication for the remainder of the week, and then dive into the study of marketing strategies for a future installment of this series.

Communication strategies have two key elements: Topic and Topic-Driven. Topic is something people use to find information on a topic. The topic is the thing you are looking for. Topics include things like weather, sports, movies, and so on. Topic-Driven is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a strategy that focuses on the topics that you will know the most.

Topic-Driven communication is about being ahead of the game on the topics that you know the most. For example, when I was in marketing I worked on a lot of really expensive events. By the time I knew what to do on a particular day, I was so far ahead of the game I was able to tell people about the event in advance. Now, this isn’t the same as “being ahead” of the game. That’s another term for being ahead of the curve.

Topic-Driven marketing is about being ahead of the game. It’s about having the knowledge and experience to know what the people who are going to use your product are doing.

Well, what are the most important factors in a marketing plan? I don’t think most of them are really that important. There are just some things that everyone will agree are really important to you at some point and really important to others.

The most important factors in a marketing plan should probably be based on the product or service your business is selling. The most important things to measure are the number of people who will buy it and the number of people who will use it. Of course, if you have a great product and great marketing, you would do well to measure even more things.

This is where things like customer feedback and reviews come in to play. Feedback is a way for you to get the public to use your product more and to make them more likely to buy it. Reviews are a way for you to get the public to use your product and to make them more likely to recommend it to others.

Customer feedback is one of the most powerful marketing tools that anyone can have. And most of us don’t measure feedback. We measure the sales results because that is the metric most of us would use (and not because it is the only metric).
