If you are working on a project and you want to use a copyrighted image, the first thing you need to do is determine if you have permission to use it. If you don’t, it is copyright infringement and you can be (and probably have been) sued.
The image in question is from the official Deathloop website. That means that the image is free for everyone to use. The image of the Deathloop logo is also free for anyone to use. So, there’s no copyright infringement, since you are using the official, official logo, and the image is free. The problem is that the image isn’t copyrighted, and therefore it is not free for everyone.
Deathloop is a time-looping stealth game that was originally released in March 2014. We’ve been eagerly awaiting its re-release ever since we covered it back in 2014. And last week, the game finally got an official release, complete with a new trailer that tells us a few things about the story.
In the new trailer, Colt appears on the beach with Blackreef (you can see the Blackreef, our island, in the background) and makes his way to the Visionaries’ base – a sprawling fortress – in an attempt to find his sister, who was kidnapped and lost. I say “attempt”, because he doesn’t exactly seem to have a plan.
The game is still in its early days, but the developers are already working on a number of improvements such as multiplayer, an updated UI, and improved voice-overs, although with the new trailer you’ll be hearing those in-game for the first time.

What I’m referring to here is the “unlimited” money in-game currency, which is a bit of a pain that the developers are working on. The devs have promised more details and details are coming soon. You can tell them anything.
The developers are not the only ones working on this. This is an open-source game so you can also expect the devs to be working on a multitude of improvements. If you are an indie, this is the time to make a game that is free and also to make sure you have the right legal structure to protect your IP.
The game is a top-down action-RPG set in a fantasy world that has been split into two different planes. In the normal world, there are eight Visionaries and you play as a rogue who travels to their island to kill them all. In the parallel world, there are eight villains, or Visionaries, that you play as. You can play the stories separately, but the developers have teased that each story will have a different ending depending on the choices you make.
The game is free-to-play and it is currently in development. The game is currently in alpha and is due for a release in the summer of 2010.
