I have to admit that I am a little obsessed with marketing and sales. I love the research and writing aspect of it, but I also love the excitement of being able to share my findings with my peers, industry contacts, and clients.

That’s why I love marketing and sales… I love it.

My name is Sarah O’Hara. I’m a marketing and sales analyst intern. I’m currently working for a marketing and sales firm here in Denver. I love working in marketing and sales because I love sales and marketing. I love being able to work with other professionals. I’ve learned about sales and marketing from working with others. Marketing and sales professionals are in the business of selling people on their company’s products and services. In other words, they are sales professionals. Whether you are marketing a product, a service or yourself, you need to be able to communicate your ideas clearly and persuasively. You need to understand your audience and know how to reach them.

I am a marketing intern at Arkane Studios and this is what I do. When I’m not working, I am a part-time student in the University of Denver’s marketing and media department. While I’m there, I am working on developing marketing campaigns for Arkane. In this role, I am helping companies gain exposure and market themselves.

The intern is the part of a marketing intern that is learning the ropes of marketing and helping in the process. It’s a bit more involved than the first part of the internship. Marketing students take a class and then have to work on a campaign or do research with a client for a limited amount of time. Interns usually have a few projects to work on throughout the internship and are usually given a budget, so it’s not the most fun.

Most interns are working on projects to help a company or organization gain exposure. My favorite is for a company to sell a product that is in a popular TV show. Then you are able to see the product in action (on TV) and learn the details of what they are doing to market to the general public. When I was in college I was in charge of doing a social media marketing campaign for a company that made a new kind of glue for school kids.

While this may sound like an easy opportunity, the problem with most internships is that you may not be paid for the work you do. So instead of earning a living, your salary is tied to your projects and the amount of work you get done. To make matters worse, your project may be a failure, and that means you will still have to pay your company back.
